First Article Testing (FAT)
Government First Article Testing is required. Delivery of the First Article is due 300 days after Receipt of Order (DARO). Government approval/disapproval will occur 180 days after receipt of the First Article. Production units will be delivered 300 days after Government approval. FOB terms for First Article are Inspection at Origin, Acceptance at Destination, FOB Destination. For production units, Inspection and Acceptance are at Origin.
Special Requirements
This item requires access to restricted technical data (DOD 5220.22M). Contractors must be certified by DOD to access unclassified data by submitting DD Form 2345, Military Critical Technical Data Agreement, to the Defense Logistics Information Services.
