Key Requirements

- Quality System: Suppliers must have a Quality System Plan compliant with MIL-I-45208 or ISO 9001 and NCSL Z540.3 or ISO 10012, requiring Government approval.
- Material Control: An effective material control system with certified quantitative mill or industrial laboratory reports is required.
- Data Submission: Crucially, quantitative (classified) electrical test results data must NOT be submitted via WAWF to NSWCPD. Only qualitative (unclassified) results should be sent to NSWCPD (DODACC N64498). Classified quantitative data must be submitted directly to NUWC Division Newport, RI (Alexandra Hills, Code 3423) following specific shipping guidelines.
- Reports: Various Objective Quality Evidence Data (OQEDs) and reports are required, including Certified Quantitative Mill Certification, Certificate of Compliance, Certificate of Conformance, Visual/Dimensional Inspection Reports, Welding Inspection Reports, Conformance Inspection/Test Reports, and a Mercury Exclusion Certification.
