Services include specimen collection, labeling, processing, transport, moderate and high complexity testing, and result entry into electronic health records. Performance standards mandate 95% turnaround time for processing, 98% accuracy for specimen mislabeling and result entry, and 98% shift coverage. Contractor personnel must meet Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments of 1988 (CLIA) education requirements for high complexity testing. Services are needed across multiple shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Contract Details
This is a Firm Fixed Unit Price Performance Based Service contract. The contract will consist of a 12-week base period requiring 5,400 service hours, followed by seventeen 8-week option periods, each requiring 3,600 service hours. The 100% Buy Indian Set-Aside requires offerors to complete and submit the Indian Health Service Buy Indian Act Indian Economic Enterprise Representation Form. The North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) code is 561320 (Other Medical Services). The contract will be administered by the Pine Ridge Service Unit.
