Ammendment 2. Answers to RFI Questions and to update PWS adding "Snow tires require the Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake certification on an all-terrain tire." (See Part 5 page 11 of PWS Ver. 2)
Ammendment 1..The purpose of this ammendmenet is to update the PWS removing the snow chain requirement. NO SNOW CHAINS REQUIRED.
For quote submission see instructions in clause ADDENDUM TO 52.212-1.
The Contractor shall provide 11-1-ton pickup trucks seat no less than five (5) personnel, Transmission: Automatic preferred, Engine: 6.7L Turbo Diesel or equivalent engine, Fuel Type: Gas or Diesel, Ground Clearance: 9 in or greater, Type: Dually Truck, snow tires, Towing package capable of 25,000 lbs. an available fleet of all non-tactical vehicles for the use of U.S. Soldiers in accordance with the requirements below. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, services, documentation, and insurance to support the vehicle requirements. The primary purpose of these vehicles is to provide transportation of personnel and equipment over long distances, to include in cold weather environments. Vehicles will be utilized on paved, unpaved, and cross-country road surfaces. Period of performance 05 January 2026 to 02 April 2026.
