Source Approval Requirements
Government source approval is required prior to contract award. Only previously approved sources have been solicited. New sources must qualify in accordance with the design control activity's procedures, approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. If you are not an approved source, you must submit detailed information as outlined in the NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Source Approval Information Brochures (Spares or Repair, links provided in the original notice) with your proposal. Failure to provide all required data will result in offers not being considered. Note that award may proceed based on Fleet support needs if new source approval cannot be processed in time.
