Almost all sections from 101 through 412 have been affected by these modifications, including significant deletions, replacements, and additions.

Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To replace and/or resurface existing aged and broken Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) within the Frazier Mountain Area on the Mt Pinos Ranger District (MPRD) of the Los Padres National Forest. The goal is to improve public traffic safety and access for fire management and recreation use.

• Pulverization and road reconditioning per FP-24 Sec. 304.

• Compaction using FSSS method D.

• Optional Caltrans AB Class 2 aggregate base (1-1/2 in. max).

• HMA CalTrans (1/2 in. max. Type A, PG 64-16 No RAP).

• Matching existing road surface, surrounding landscape, and other improvements with smooth transitions.

• Protection of existing monuments and survey markers.

• Installation of sediment control devices.

• Work must be completed in compliance with specified terms, specifications, drawings, and provisions.
