Statement of Work (SOW)

To provide utility services (water, wastewater, and electrical) for three temporary work trailers (two office trailers and one shower/bathroom trailer) at the Los Prietos Complex on the Santa Barbara Ranger District.

• Connect three mobile trailer units to existing site utilities.

• Work includes connecting to water, wastewater, and electrical utilities.

• Existing utilities are located approximately 50 feet from the southern edge of the existing concrete pad where trailers will be placed.

• Location: 3505 Paradise Road, Santa Barbara, California, in the "lower compound" at the Santa Barbara District Rangers Office.

• Estimated Start Date: 10 days from notice to proceed.

• Period of Performance: Anticipated completion within 14 days of the start date.

Electrical:

• Install main breaker in the electrical building.

• Install conduit and wall penetration.

• Place two 25' utility poles.

• Install overhead electrical conductor from the electrical building pole to the trailer pad pole and to each trailer.

• Connect power at the breaker panel for each trailer.

• Expose existing waterline and connect to it, installing a riser.

• Install PVC water piping to distribute water to the shower/latrine trailer. Wastewater:

• Trench from the concrete pad to the existing wastewater line (approx. 40 feet).

• Install buried wastewater line from the concrete pad to the existing line.

• Install wastewater collection lines from each trailer to a new wastewater riser.

• Connect the shower/latrine trailer to the new wastewater lines.

• All newly installed lines and conduit shall be clearly marked/labeled.

• Contractor will back-fill excavated trenches and finish with hot-mix asphalt cover/patch.

• Proposed Project Plan: Due within 5 business days after contract award.

• Shop Drawings (electric line and pipe placement): Due within 5 business days after contract award.

• Weekly Status Report: Due weekly, every Friday, by 3:00 PM EDST until contract expires.

• Contractor must be licensed in California.

• All materials must be manufactured in the USA and labeled as such.

• Contractor is responsible for obtaining all required permits and approvals.

• Daily site cleanup is required.

• No special security considerations are required.
