Justification for Sole Source
The procurement is restricted to The MathWorks, Inc. as the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM). Competition is precluded due to the deep integration of MATLAB into NSMRL's research processes, the lack of available substitutes, and the potential for disruption to ongoing research and compromise of data integrity if an alternative platform were used.
