Scope of Work

This effort involves the procurement and installation of two (2) 2.5-ton mini-split AC units in Bldg 1052. Key tasks include:

  • Removal of existing ceiling grid and tile, and obstructions.
  • Installation of new units, refrigerant lines, condensate lines, and electrical connections.
  • Installation of a secondary p-trap lower than the existing one.
  • Tying new mini-splits into panel L3, potentially requiring breaker panel rearrangement and panel schedule updates.
  • Pressure testing refrigerant lines and pulling vacuum.
  • Framing and expanding an existing wall to create a cavity/chase for lines and wiring.
  • Modifying existing flooring and ceiling, and installing a new dedicated circuit and exterior disconnect as per local code.
  • Finishing the wall to match surrounding properties.
  • Removal of all construction debris, drywall dust, and packaging.
  • Full operability demonstration upon installation.
