Source Approval Requirements
Alternate sources must qualify in accordance with the design control activity's procedures, as approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. Interested parties who are not currently approved sources must submit information detailed in the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Information Brochures (links available in the original notice) along with their proposal. Offers lacking required source approval data will not be considered. If a source approval request cannot be processed in time, the award may proceed based on Fleet support needs with approved sources.
