Qualification Requirements
Government source approval is mandatory prior to contract award, as the item is flight critical and technical data is insufficient for full and open competition. Alternate sources must qualify in accordance with the design control activity's procedures, approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. Non-approved sources must submit detailed information as outlined in the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Information Brochures (Spares/Repair links provided in the original notice). Offers lacking required source approval data will not be considered. Award is contingent on the offeror, product, or manufacturer meeting qualification requirements per FAR clause 52.209-1 at the time of award.
