Evaluation & Source Approval
This is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responsible sources may identify their interest and capability to respond. Proposals received within 45 days of publication will be considered. A determination not to compete is at the Government's discretion. Award is contingent upon the offeror, product, or manufacturer meeting qualification requirements at the time of award, per FAR clause 52.209-1.
New sources must qualify in accordance with the design control activity's procedures, approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. If not an approved source, offerors must submit detailed information as outlined in the NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support Source Approval Information Brochures (links provided in the original notice). Offers failing to provide required source approval data will not be considered. The time required for new source approval is typically such that an award cannot be delayed.
