Submission & Evaluation
The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only McMaster-Carr Supply Co. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation for consideration. Firms not currently approved to manufacture this material must submit a Source Approval Request (SAR), but this procurement will not be delayed awaiting SAR approval. The Government will use FAR Part 15 procedures and is not using FAR Part 12 for commercial items. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to satisfy the requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice. Proposals received within 45 days of the synopsis publication will be considered solely for determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
