Evaluation & Source Approval
The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. However, all responsible sources may identify their interest and capability or submit proposals. Proposals received within 45 days of publication will be considered. Award will only be made to offerors meeting qualification requirements per FAR 52.209-1.
New sources must submit detailed information for Government source approval with their proposal, as outlined in the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Information Brochures (links provided in the original notice). Failure to provide required source approval data will result in non-consideration. The Government does not own the data rights to purchase/repair this part from additional sources, and reverse engineering is uneconomical.
