• Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM).

• A Bid Bond and original Power of Attorney are NOT required due to the magnitude of construction.

Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To provide a new vehicle exhaust ventilation system in Vehicle Maintenance (VM) Building 19 (B-19) at the 183d Wing, Illinois Air National Guard Base, Springfield, IL.

• Installation of a new vehicle exhaust ventilation system in Main Maintenance Bays 106, 107, 108, and Fuel Maintenance Bay 101.

• System to include exhaust fans, hose reels, hoses, ducting, control panels, and associated accessories.

• Specific requirements for fan horsepower, CFM, hose diameter and material, and ducting specifications.

• Contractor to provide manufacturer's design, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, travel, and labor.

• Site visit required to verify conditions before design.

• Contractor to prepare existing building for penetrations and supports.

• Installation of four overhead hose-reeled drops and two exhaust fans in Main Maintenance Bays, and one overhead hose-reeled drop and one exhaust fan in Fuel Maintenance Bay.

• System basis of design similar to Fume A Vent Removal Systems.

• System must meet all applicable commercial and US military standards/specifications, as well as Federal, State, and local laws and regulations.

• Fans must be calculated for proper size and designed in accordance with AMCA standards, UFC 3-410-04, and ACGIH IV Manual.

• Hoses must meet Military Spec MIL PFR 62028 and withstand 600 degrees Fahrenheit.

• Ducting must be galvanized with EPDM seals and exhaust to the outside.

• System must operate properly upon completion.

• Contractor to provide training to Government personnel on proper care and operation.

• Contractor to provide manufacturer's warranties and a one-year workmanship warranty.

• Period of Performance: 90 days or less.

• Place of Performance: 183d Wing, Illinois Air National Guard Base, Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport, Springfield, IL 62707-5001.

• Firm Fixed Price contract.

• Contractor must comply with all installation/facility access and local security policies.

• All contractor employees requiring access must complete AT/FP Level 1 Awareness Training.
