Quick Summary
The General Services Administration (GSA) is announcing the FY26 Spring Open Season for its Main Bus Program, seeking new model year (NMY) updates from existing contractors and new model proposals from current or prospective offerors. This open season allows for the submission of various bus types, including Adult Work Buses, School Buses, Shuttles, and Coaches. A virtual Industry Day is scheduled for March 4, 2026, with the bid period opening on March 5, 2026, and closing on March 31, 2026.
Purpose & Scope
This Open Season is part of the ongoing 2025 Main Bus Program (Solicitation 47QMCA24R0006), which procures Passenger Motor Vehicles (PSC 2310). The program aims to acquire Adult Work Buses, School Buses, Shuttles, Inter-City Commuter Coaches, and Over-the-Road Touring Coaches. Offerors can submit NMY updates for awarded line items or propose entirely new models. All proposed models must comply with Federal Vehicle Standard 833T, which includes recent technical changes related to floor plans, Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE), school bus specifications, and warranty information.
Contract Details
The underlying acquisition is for multiple Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Fixed Price Type Contracts with a 60-month period of performance. This opportunity operates under 100% Full and Open Competition. Submissions will be managed through the GSAFleet.gov platform.

Submission & Evaluation
Submissions for the Open Season will be evaluated according to the terms and conditions outlined in Section C - Open Season of the respective contracts. Price increases for currently awarded models must be justified to be considered fair and reasonable. New models and next model year vehicles with changes in equipment will also be considered. Offerors may need a GSA Affiliated Customer Account (GACA) to access certain resources, such as past Industry Day recordings.
