Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

To maintain the highest standards of safety and security for the 2026 Great Texas Airshow by conducting comprehensive security screenings of all attending personnel and their personal property.

• Provide, deliver, assemble, calibrate, and test 12 walk-through metal detectors.

• Install units at three designated locations: 3 units at the first, 3 units at the second, and 6 units at the third (East Ramp).

• Ensure detectors can identify a full range of metal weapon threats, even within body cavities, without requiring spectators to remove personal items like belts, coins, or jewelry.

• Contractor must remain on-site to monitor operation during the event.

• Disassemble and remove all units after the event.

• Location: Joint Base San Antonio - Randolph, TX 78150.

• Installation and testing: No later than 1700 hrs on May 1, 2026.

• Event Operation: May 2, 2026 (0900-1700 hrs) and May 3, 2026 (0900-1700 hrs).

• Removal: No earlier than 1800 hrs on May 3, 2026, and completed no later than 2000 hrs on May 3, 2026.

• Contractor employees must undergo background vetting through the National Crime Information Center database.

• Employees not meeting minimum qualifications for physical access will be denied entry.

• Contractor vehicles will be searched prior to access.

• No firearms or weapons are allowed on the property, regardless of permit.

• Contractor employees in possession of concealed or openly carried firearms will be denied entry.

• The 902d Security Forces Squadron will issue base passes upon approval of background screening.

• Government-furnished items include 6, 50" Extension Cords and power outlets located approximately 100 feet from 2 locations on the main base.
