Quick Summary
The Department of the Army's Team Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG) will host its annual Advance Planning Briefing to Industry (APBI) from April 21-22, 2026, at APG, MD. This hybrid event (in-person and virtual) is a critical forum for industry stakeholders to gain insight into the organization's future contracting landscape, focusing on potential opportunities for Fiscal Years 2028-2029. The APBI aims to help industry understand Army capability requirements and shape internal development efforts, rather than solicit formal bids.
Event Details
The APBI will take place at Myer Auditorium (Building 6000) at APG, MD, with virtual attendance available via Microsoft Teams. Broadcast links for virtual sessions on April 21st (AM/PM) and April 22nd (AM/PM) have been provided. A social event, hosted by the Aberdeen Proving Ground Area Associations, is scheduled for Wednesday, April 22, 2026, from 6 PM to 8 PM at Watchtower Brewing Company.
Purpose & Scope
The APBI provides a foundation for strategic planning and partnership by aligning potential contracting opportunities with the Army's key mission areas and strategic initiatives. Sessions will cover contract opportunities, keynote addresses, and specific program areas from various commands and organizations, including CECOM, DEVCOM, and the Office of Small Business Programs. Special interest sessions may also be held at Mallette Training Facility.
