Quick Summary

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is issuing a Request for Information (RFI) for market research purposes to identify Small Businesses capable of providing contracting support for locating and contracting suitable detached duty recruiter coworking spaces. This RFI also seeks feedback on a draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). Responses are due by June 8, 2026, at 12:00 PM EST.

Purpose & Scope

This RFI, issued in accordance with FAR Part 10, aims to gather information from industry, specifically small businesses, regarding their capabilities to support the USCG's need for coworking facilities. The objective is to procure contractor services for identifying and securing suitable coworking spaces that ensure accessibility, suitability, compliance, security, and cost-effectiveness for USCG recruiters in sixteen (16) specified continental U.S. locations.

Draft Performance Work Statement (PWS) Details

  • Objective: Provide recruiters with necessary infrastructure to professionally represent the service and engage with prospective candidates.
  • Key Requirements: Each temporary coworking space must include an L-shaped office desk (60-72 inches long side, 48-58 inches short side, at least 30 inches high), an office chair for the recruiter, and additional seating for 2-4 guests. Spaces should be between 500-1000 sq ft and include a conference room, easily accessible internet, a printer/scanner, bathrooms, air conditioning, heating, public parking, a kitchenette, snacks, and a water fountain. Recruiters require access at least three (3) times a week.
  • Period of Performance: One (1) 12-month base period (December 15, 2026 – December 14, 2027) and one (1) 12-month option period (December 15, 2027 – December 14, 2028).
  • Special Requirements: Contractor must attend a Post Award Conference, provide a draft Project Plan with their proposal, and a final Project Plan after award. The contractor is responsible for furnishing all necessary facilities, equipment, and services.

RFI Response Requirements

Interested parties are requested to submit:

  • A positive statement of intent to submit an offer as a prime contractor if a solicitation is issued.
  • Relevancy of Experience: List up to three (3) current or completed contracts within the last five (5) years similar in scope, including contract number, title, type, and award amount.
  • Feedback on Draft PWS: Provide organization details (name, address, website/email, POC, socioeconomic status, UEI), information/resources needed from the government, existing government-wide acquisition contracts (GWACs), and any general comments or suggestions.

Submission & Timeline

Responses and questions regarding this RFI must be emailed to Jennifer Blackwell at Jennifer.Blackwell@uscg.mil by June 8, 2026, at 12:00 PM EST.
