Contractors must adhere to the BLM's Monitoring Manual for Grassland, Shrubland, and Savanna Ecosystems and the Terrestrial AIM Data Management Protocol. Core methods include Plot Characterization, Line-Point Intercept, Vegetation Height, Gap Intercept, Soil Aggregate Stability, and Plot-Level Species Inventory. Supplemental methods, such as Plant Density and Tree Density (detailed in Attachments A and B), are also required. Data will be captured using electronic devices (Survey123) and synchronized with the AIM enterprise database, with strict QA/QC protocols. Data collection points may be in remote locations, up to 3 miles from a road, and on slopes up to 50%.

Personnel & Equipment Requirements
