This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items for Aerial Insecticide Application services for the Horning and Tyrrell Seed Orchards located in Colton and Lorane, Oregon. The government is procuring these services to apply esfenvalerate insecticide to Douglas-fir trees.

• Two aerial spray applications at each seed orchard.

• Initial spray application in late-March to late-April.

• Second spray application two to three weeks after the first.

• Application of esfenvalerate at a rate of 0.19 lb. of active ingredient per acre (0.29 gallon of formulation per acre).

• Median droplet size of 200 to 800 microns.

• Contractor must possess an Oregon commercial pesticide operator's license and an aerial applicator's license.
