Scope of Work
The objective is to furnish a new, fully assembled, and outfitted general-use vessel for transporting personnel, equipment, and supplies to and from offshore islands in nearshore and coastal waters, including shallow flats and wave-exposed areas. Key requirements include:
- Vessel: New, current production model, 21-foot (± 6 inches) center console, modified V-hull (14-16 degrees deadrise), solid fiberglass construction, elevated bow freeboard, heavy-duty rub rail, and keel guard. Must be suitable for routine operation in 2-4 foot wind-driven seas with additional swell conditions.
- Propulsion: One 150-horsepower 4-stroke outboard engine, approved for continuous-duty, with stainless steel propeller and hydraulic or mechanical controls.
- Capacity & Features: Minimum 8 persons, fuel capacity not less than 90 gallons. Includes wireless man-overboard engine cutoff, flush-mounted GPS/chartplotter (min 12-inch display) with depth sounder, marine radar, fixed-mount VHF radio, compass, horn, LED lighting, two marine-grade batteries, automatic bilge pump, self-bailing cockpit, and USCG-compliant flotation foam.
- Deck & Console: Center console with dry storage, stainless steel grab rails, leaning post, recessed footrest, anchor locker, stainless steel cleats, hydraulic steering, T-top, trim tabs, jack plate, non-skid deck, bow and aft seating with removable cushions, under-seat storage, swim platform with ladder, removable windshield, and USB/12-volt charging ports.
