Purpose
This is a Sources Sought Notice Only and not a Request for Proposal (RFP). The 22 CONS is gathering industry information to explore the possibility of procuring and installing pallet shelving. The notice, along with the attached Statement of Need (SoN), is designed to clarify requirements before a formal RFP is issued. The government reserves the right to determine how to proceed based on responses and may limit competition to specific small business categories or solicit on an unrestricted basis.
Scope of Work
The requirement is for the procurement and installation of a pallet storage system in Bldg. 1107 at McConnell AFB, Kansas. The system must be capable of storing:
- 45 each 463L seat pallets
- 20 each Air Transportable Galley Lavatories (ATGL)/ISU 90s on 463L pallets.
The contractor will be responsible for furnishing personnel, material, equipment, and transportation for the installation. This includes performing a pre-inspection, installing the system according to the customer's floor plan, maintaining a clean job site, disposing of debris, complying with fire and safety regulations, and performing equipment testing upon completion.
Key Requirements
- 463L Pallet Shelving Unit: Approximately 157' 1" long x 7' 10" wide, 3-tiered, with specific bay dimensions and built-in dunnage.
- ATGL/ISU 90 Shelving Unit: Approximately 105' long x 7' 10" wide, 2-tiered, with specific bay dimensions and built-in dunnage.
- Place of Performance: Bldg. 1107, McConnell AFB, Kansas, during standard hours (Mon-Fri, 0700-1500).
- Special Conditions: Contractor personnel must consent to NCI background checks, obtain base identification and vehicle passes, and maintain a neat appearance. The customer will provide forklifts, coordinate badging, and handle security delays.
Response Instructions
Interested and qualified firms are invited to submit a capability statement providing an overview of qualifications and experience. The statement must include:
- Company Information (name, address, point of contact, phone, email, UEI/CAGE Code).
