The requirement includes hot rolled strips and flats, structural angles, various rounds, square and rectangular tubing, pipe, carbon steel sheets, high strength low alloy sheets & plate, floor/deck plates, standard and ship/car channels, wide flange beams, reinforcing bars, safety grating, bar grating, and stainless steel products. Vendors must be located within a 60-mile radius of the Acoustic Research Detachment (ARD) in Bayview, ID, and must have the required materials readily available, as the Government will not provide them.
