- Design & Manufacturing: Adherence to Drawing 8628281-2 Assembly and Design Change Notice No. 452-22-001, including associated specifications.
- Marking: Per MIL-STD-130, including specific part numbers and serial numbers.
- First Article Testing/Inspection: Required, with Government approval needed for the procedure and report prior to commencing first article unit and production units, respectively. The supplier must notify NSWCPD (matthew.j.ogilvie.civ@us.navy.mil) two weeks prior to scheduled testing.
- Quality System: Supplier's Quality Inspection System must be in accordance with MIL-I-45208 or ISO 9001, and NCSL Z540.3 or ISO 10012. A written Quality Inspection and Test Plan (CDRL A001) is required.
- Material Control: Certified quantitative mill or industrial laboratory reports for chemical and physical analysis are mandatory.
- Objective Quality Evidence Records (OQEDs): Suppliers must maintain and furnish Certified Mill Certification, Certificate of Compliance for Materials, Visual/Dimensional Inspection Reports, and Mercury Exclusion Certification (CDRLs A005-A008).
- Packaging: MIL-STD 2073 applies.
