Quality Assurance & Evaluation
Contractors are responsible for all inspection requirements, maintaining an inspection/quality system per MIL-I-45208 (or ISO 9001/9002). Quality conformance inspection (nondestructive) must follow MIL-DTL-17931F Table VI and MIL-STD-105. A Certification Data Report via DD Form 250 is required for each lot, 75 days prior to delivery. NAVSUP WSS Mechanicsburg will consider past performance in the evaluation of offers.
Additional Notes
The resultant award will be issued bilaterally, requiring contractor acceptance. Access to drawings, if included, must be requested via SAM.gov and email to the POC. Shelf life for these bearings is 60 months (extendable), with MIL-B-17931E bearings having a 10-year shelf life.
