Quality Assurance & Evaluation

Contractors are responsible for all inspection requirements, maintaining an inspection/quality system compliant with MIL-I-45208 or ISO 9001/9002. This includes contractor-performed Quality Conformance Inspection and Production Lot Testing (PLT). Government Verification Inspection will also be conducted at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Carderock Division. NAVSUP WSS Mechanicsburg will consider past performance in the evaluation of offers (IAW FAR 13.106(a)(2)). The item is now determined a commercial item, and evaluation will follow commercial products and services guidelines (DEV 2026-O0028). Only sources currently approved by the Government or those providing proof of prior approval/qualification will be considered.

Additional Notes

This requirement is pursuant to Emergency Acquisition Flexibilities (EAF) and will result in a DO certified order under the Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS). An option for increased quantity (180 days after award) is included, and pricing for this option is requested.
