Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This Performance Work Statement (PWS) outlines the requirements for providing aerobic instruction services at Aviano Air Base.

• Provide qualified personnel to instruct aerobic classes at Dragon Fitness Center (Bldg. 1405) and Wyvern Fitness Center (Bldg. 1430).

• Classes to include, but not be limited to, Indoor Cycling, Zumba, Yoga, HIIT, and Pilates.

• Approximately 65-82 classes per month, totaling 780-988 classes per contract year.

• Instructors must arrive 10-15 minutes prior to class start.

• Classes will run for 45-55 minutes.

• Instructors must conduct at least two pulse breaks and one water break per class.

• Instructors must demonstrate all moves and adjust pace for different skill levels.

• Instructors must appear energetic, positive, and professional, wearing appropriate attire.

• No more than 3 customer complaints per month related to instructor demonstration, appearance, or interaction.

• No more than 1 cancellation per instructor per month, and no more than 5 total cancellations per month, with at least 24 hours' notice.

• Contract Period: March 1, 2026 – February 28, 2031.

• Location: Aviano AB, Dragon Fitness Center (Bldg. 1405) and Wyvern Fitness Center (Bldg. 1430).

• Personnel must have full authority to act on contract matters and be available within two hours during normal duty hours.

• Instructors must possess primary certification from an accredited health/fitness organization and maintain current First Aid and CPR/AED certifications.

• Contractor must provide a list of certified instructors with contact information and copies of certifications.

• Contractor is responsible for providing their own headset/microphones.

• Government will provide facilities, mats, steps, weights, and an electronic stereo system.

• Contractor must comply with all Aviano AB policies regarding installation access and conduct.

• Contractor is responsible for obtaining necessary access cards, passes, and badges for personnel.

• Emergency medical services will be provided by the government, with the contractor reimbursing costs.
