Scope of Work
The contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and transportation necessary for the installation, maintenance, and repair of contractor-owned appliances. Key responsibilities include:
- Appliance Provision & Installation: Provide and install contractor-owned washers/dryers and built-in electric cook tops according to manufacturer specifications. Appliances must be new, fully operational, and UL approved or equivalent.
- Appliance Types: Include standard washers/dryers, stackable units, high-performance washer-extractors, specialized laundry centers, vent-less dryers, and front-load washers, with specific capacity, dimensions, and power requirements.
- Maintenance & Repair: Perform preventive maintenance, corrosion treatment control, and respond to service calls within specified timeframes (48-72 hours for on-site service, 5 business days for operational status). Repair or replace defective units within 7 business days if repair is not possible.
- Documentation: Maintain a service log tracking installations, maintenance, and service calls.
Performance Standards
- Preventive Maintenance: No more than 3 washers/dryers inoperable per month in a single laundry area/building/unit.
- Service Call Response: Appliances operational within 5 business days of notification.
