Performance Work Statement (PWS)

Acquire 18 total restraints to be added to the ceiling of Hangar 129 to provide fall protection for personnel performing maintenance on top of aircraft.

• Provide all tools, parts, equipment, materials, labor, and supervision for the installation of 18 fall arrestors, 18 I-beam clamps, and 18 fall protection harnesses.

• Install fall protection systems per the approved proposal at Davis-Monthan AFB (DMAFB), AZ.

• Perform testing and certification of installed systems to ensure compliance with established policies.

• Provide a minimum 1-year warranty for all parts and labor.

• Fall protection downtime shall be kept to an absolute minimum.

• All work performed shall be in accordance with standard industry practice and free from failure due to defective workmanship for 365 days.

• New materials/products provided shall also be covered for 365 days from completion if not defective due to misuse, negligence, etc.

• Installation to be completed within 30 days upon receiving all materials/parts.

• Work to be performed during hours of 7:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays and DMAFB down days.

• Services to be performed at the permanent site of Hangar 129.

• Contractor shall provide a primary Point of Contact (POC) with full authority.

• Contractor personnel must be fully qualified certified technicians.

• Only new genuine replacement parts conforming to manufacturer's specifications are to be used, unless approved otherwise.

• Contractor must comply with all applicable laws and safety regulations, including OSHA.

• Contractor employees must provide their own safety equipment and clothing meeting State, Federal, and OSHA guidelines.

• HAZMAT use requires prior approval from the Hazardous Materials Pharmacy (HAZMART).

• Contractor employees must report any security threats immediately.

• Contractor must provide a list of employees performing services on DMAFB.

• Contractor employees must obtain required passes and identification items.

• Contractor employees must comply with base traffic regulations and are subject to searches.

• Contractor employees are prohibited from possessing weapons, firearms, or ammunition on base.

• Contractor employees shall maintain a professional appearance and communication.

• Government will provide water, electricity, sludge/debris removal, access to previous maintenance records, and security/fire protection services.

• Contractor must participate in the base recycling program.
