***Amendment 0002: Bid Opening extended to 18 November 2025 at 2:00 PM EST and Sections B, C, E, and F revised.*** ***Amendment 0001: Bid Opening extended to 4 November 2025 at 2:00 PM EDT.*** The Marine Design Center of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) has issued this solicitation to retain Contractor services for drydocking, maintenance, repair, and completion of required ABS Surveys for the NASA Barge PEGASUS. The work consists of maintenance and repair, American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) surveys and coordination, and scope specific modifications on the NASA barge PEGASUS. The principal dimensions and characteristics are: Vessel Built by Gulf Coast Fabricators, Inc., Gulfport, MS; Delivery Date 1999; Length (overall) 310 feet-0 inches; Breadth, Molded 50 feet-0 inches; Depth 15 feet-9 inches; Registered (Gross) 1457 tons; CEMDC Hull Number 805; ABS Hull Number 298; ABS Identification Number 9938187. There will be liquidated damages associated with this procurement. Prior to the award of this Contract, the Contractor shall enter into a Mastership Agreement for Repair and Alteration of Vessels. If the Contractor has entered such an agreement prior to this Contract, that agreement may be utilized. For more information, see DFARS Subpart 252.217-71, Master Agreement for Repair and Alteration of Vessels. All amendments to the IFB will be posted to the Sam.Gov website. It is the offeror?s responsibility to monitor the website in order to access the solicitation. Offerors are responsible for printing copies of the IFB and any amendments. NAICS code is 336611, Ship Building and Repair. All contractors are required to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) before award as required by DFARS 204.7300.
