Solicitation / RFP / RFQ

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products, specifically a multitude of micrometers, gauges, and test indicators. The acquisition is set aside 100% for Small Business Concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 334519, with a Small Business Size Standard of 600 Employees.

• The requirement is for BRAND NAME OR EQUAL items. Refer to Attachment 1 - Specifications for minimum salient characteristics.

• Specific items listed include various models of Mitutoyo and Starrett micrometers, SPI mechanical depth micrometers, Mitutoyo and Starrett dial test indicators, a value collection set, and a Mitutoyo dial height gage.

Statement of Objectives (SOO)

To procure precision measurement tooling to support aircraft maintenance training for students and instructors, enabling accurate dimensional measurements.

The requirement includes the procurement of the following types of tooling:

• Dial Indicators

• Outside Micrometers

• Height Gages

• Drill Blank Sets

• Mechanical Outside Micrometers: Available in 1", 2", 3", and 4" ranges, with graduations of 0.0001" or 0.000050" and accuracy typically within 0.0001" to 0.000150".

• Mechanical Depth Micrometer: 4" range, 0.001" graduation.

• Horizontal Dial Test Indicators: Available with 0.2000" max (0-100 dial reading, 0.001000" graduation) and 0.0080" max (0-4-0 dial reading, 0.000100" accuracy).

• Drill Blank Set: 29-piece set, 1/16" to 1/2", bright finish, high-speed steel, in 1/64" step increments.

• 12" Dial Height Gage: 0.001" graduation, accuracy to 0.0015".

• Delivery is to Avenue G, Building 825, Sheppard AFB, TX 76311.

• Lead time for some items is noted as 270 Days.
