Features include a color touch screen, adjustable speeds (50-170 fpm), emergency brake, safety canopy, insulation, modular construction, automatic roll pressure reduction, guide tape tensioning, digital temperature readouts for various points, and a waxing program. Requires 480 volts, 3 phase, 60 cycles. Includes a spill response kit.

• Folder-Cross Folder with Large Piece Stacker: Four-lane primary and three cross fold combination folder. Capable of meeting the same production rates as the spreader. Features include color touch screen controls, quality grading controls, emergency stop buttons, reverse jog capability, microprocessor control for folding and stacking, and stacker conveyor with predetermined stack counts. Requires 480 volts, 3 phase, 60 cycles.

• System Integration: All components (spreader feeder, ironer, folder-cross folder, stacker) must be inter-locked to form a complete system with integrated emergency stops and quality grading.

• Ancillary Equipment: Includes two 50-foot retractable blow-down devices per system, 360-degree sphere mirrors for visual observation, Ethernet connections for remote troubleshooting, and thumb drives with backup programs.

• The solicitation (RFQ 36L79726Q0008) will be electronically issued under FAR Part 12.201 Simplified Acquisition Procedures.

• The solicitation will be issued on or about July 2, 2026.

• Tentative closing date is August 4, 2026.

• All documents will be available electronically at https://sam.gov/. No paper copies will be provided.

• Interested parties should continuously check the SAM.gov URL for amendments and updates.

This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the procurement of commercial industrial laundry equipment for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center (VAMC) in Albuquerque, NM. The VA National Acquisition Center (NAC) is issuing this RFQ.

• Furnish commercial industrial laundry equipment as specified in the attached Technical Specifications.

• Delivery, installation, onsite shakedown, and training must be completed within 120 days from the date of award.

• The VA will award one contract.
