Scope of Work
This BPA covers the supply of four types of 3M 401+ Masking Tape in various widths (12mm, 24mm, 48mm, 76mm), all 55m in length. The tape must adhere to SAE AMS-T-21595 (Types 1 & 2), featuring a single-sided natural/synthetic rubber adhesive blend, crepe paper backing, and specific performance characteristics including:
- Adhesive strength: 35-50 oz/in (ASTM D3330)
- Tensile strength: Minimum 24 lb/in (ASTM D3759)
- Elongation: Minimum 14% (ASTM D3759)
- High-temperature rating: Minimum 249°F for 30 minutes
- Color: Green
- Shelf life: Minimum six (6) months remaining upon delivery.
Estimated annual quantities are provided, with the 24mm tape requiring 24,000 units/year and other sizes requiring 8,400 units/year over the five-year period.
