Evaluation
Award will be made to the responsible Offeror whose quote is most advantageous to the Government, considering Lowest Price (Technically Acceptable) and Past Performance. A sample of the food product may be requested prior to award. Failure to deliver awarded items may result in being determined a non-responsible contractor.
Submission & Eligibility
- Quotes must be submitted using the "National Menu Specifications Quote Sheets" for pricing, item descriptions, and case counts. Do not place this information on Standard Form 1449.
- Submission methods include mail (USPS, FEDEX, or other carrier) and email to the specified addresses. Hand-carried quotes are accepted at the Procurement and Property Department of the Central Administration Building at 5430 Knauth Road, Beaumont, Texas 77705. Faxed quotations and photocopies will not be accepted.
- Quotes received after the deadline will be handled per FAR 52.212-1(f).
- All potential quoters must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database and include their Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) number in their quotes. Failure to complete SAM registration may lead to elimination from award consideration.
- All communications regarding this RFQ must be in writing to the Contracting Officer. Questions will not be answered by telephone or in person. Refer to FAR 52.212-1, "Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items," and any addendum for instructions.
