Quick Summary

The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) is soliciting quotations for a 400 Hz Static Frequency Converter (SFC), model SFCD00100NLJ, to establish a fully redundant power system. This is a sole source acquisition for products manufactured by Power Systems & Controls Inc.

Scope of Work

The requirement is for one (1) Series SFC, 100kVA, with specific electrical ratings (100kVA, 80kW, 480Y/277V input, 115V/400Hz output), NEMA 1 enclosure, and dimensions. The converter must utilize 12 Pulse PWM Solid-State Technology, Double Conversion Topology, and Galvanic Electrical Isolation, with output frequency regulation of +/- 0.4Hz and voltage regulation of +/- 1%. The contractor must install the new SFC to create a redundant power configuration alongside the existing converter, including providing and installing a 225A 480V distribution panel and a 600A manual transfer switch. All installation, comprehensive testing, and coordination with the existing system must be completed within a strict five (5) consecutive day period. Startup services must verify independent system operation and seamless manual failover. Delivery is FOB to NSWCDD, Dahlgren, Virginia. A one-year standard warranty is required.
