Quick Summary
The Department of the Interior, Bureau of Reclamation, is conducting market research through a Sources Sought notice to identify potential sources for mini-split style ductless air conditioner/heat pump systems. This effort aims to determine if the requirement can be procured competitively, potentially as a Small Business Set-Aside. The government seeks two systems for supplemental temperature adjustment in under-ventilated workspaces. Responses are due by March 16, 2026, at 2:00 PM MT.
Scope of Work
The requirement is for the supply of:
- One dual-zone wall-mounted mini-split style ductless air conditioner/heat pump system.
- One single-zone wall-mounted mini-split style ductless air conditioner/heat pump system.
These units must be brand-name-or-equal, off-the-shelf, pre-charged with refrigerant, and include all necessary installation kit components (fittings, manifolds, wiring, tubing, drains, thermostats, remotes, etc.).
