Scope of Work
The project requires the replacement of current Johnson Controls (JCI) and Schneider components with a single Siemens-compatible front-end user interface. This includes converting pneumatic and obsolete DDC controls to the Siemens Desigo Native BACnet system. Key tasks involve:
- Modifications to existing network and cabling (Ethernet & MSTP) for integration, including new Desigo panels.
- Replacement of Tridium/Niagara controls with BACnet, Siemens Desigo compatible controllers and sensors.
- Installation of a new Siemens server and Front-End Graphical User Interface modifications, including new floor plans for Building 2.
- Installation, modification, and replacement of main equipment panels, controllers, and terminal-unit controllers.
- Removal of the compressed air system serving control components.
- Comprehensive electrical work for power, lighting, equipment grounding, and wiring devices, adhering to VA standards and NFPA 70.
- All hardware, software, installation, wiring, cabling, programming, graphics, alarms, schedules, trending, and networking must integrate into the new Siemens server per VA standards.
- A one-year warranty on all installed items is required.
