Solicitation / RFP / RFQ

This solicitation (FA441826Q0016) is for the procurement of a 1.5 Ton HVAC Unit and an Explosion Proof Control Panel, as detailed in the attached "Salient Characteristics" document. The acquisition is set aside 100% for Small Business.

• One (1) 1.5 Ton HVAC Unit, conforming to attached Salient Characteristics.

• One (1) Explosion Proof Control Panel, conforming to attached Salient Characteristics.

• Both items are to be priced on a Firm Fixed Price basis.

• The contract type is not explicitly stated but implied to be a purchase order or similar for commercial products.

• Delivery is requested by April 30, 2026.

Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

This Performance Work Statement (PWS) defines the requirements for the installation of a new Air Conditioning Unit at building 537, specifically the Paint and Chemical Storage area, at Joint Base Charleston.

• The 628th Civil Engineering Squadron will perform services including the removal of existing cooling equipment and the installation of new equipment.

• Existing equipment to be removed includes: 1 thermostat Control Panel and 1 each, 1.5 Ton wall-mounted Cooling unit.

• New equipment to be installed includes: 1 each 1.5 Ton Class I, Division 2 air conditioning unit with associated electrical hook-ups, and 1 Explosion-proof Control Panel and thermostat system with Touch Screen features for temperature control.

• The 628th CE Squadron will provide supervision, labor, and tools for the work. Limited hardware (bolts, nuts, caulking) will be provided by the 628th CE squadron for assembly. All Safety and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided by the 628th CE Squadron.

• The work is to be performed at building 537, Paint and Chemical Storage area, Joint Base Charleston.

• The 628th Civil Engineering hours of operation are 06:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Maintenance will be conducted during these hours.

• The supplier is responsible for providing and delivering the purchased assets and necessary parts and hardware for the installation.

• Equipment installation and modifications must be performed by qualified/certified mechanics from the 628th Civil Engineering Squadron.

• The Contractor shall provide commercial quality products and implement procedures to identify and prevent defective products and services.
