Special Requirements
Contractors must be licensed, bonded, and insured in California, with personnel possessing correct California Contractor license classifications and AWWA certified tester certificates. A minimum of five years of successful experience in backflow assembly services is required. Contractor personnel will undergo background checks and must adhere to OSHA, EPA, NFPA Life Safety Codes, and other regulatory requirements. A Quality Control Program must be established within ten days of Notice to Proceed.
