Scope of Work
The requirement includes the supply and installation of three (3) EON®-ROVER® ALX kits (Part # W3T591409) or equivalent. Each kit comprises the RO system, transport system, and two spare carbon block filter cartridges. Key salient characteristics for the system include a maximum product flow rate of up to 0.4 gpm, 50% nominal recovery rate, 65 lbs dry weight, 115/230 V operating voltage, and specific dimensions.
The vendor will also be responsible for:
- Installation and startup at the East Orange VA Medical Center.
- Training: ½-day onsite clinical training for up to 8 staff, 1-day onsite technical training for up to 8 staff, and a 1-hour system orientation post-setup.
- Warranty: A minimum 12-month warranty covering parts and labor (excluding misuse or improper installation). Any proposed "equal" product must meet or exceed all specified salient characteristics and include equivalent installation, training, and support services, complying with VA dialysis water standards.
Submission Requirements
Interested vendors should submit a brief description, no more than three (3) pages (including cover letter), demonstrating their capability to provide the requested equipment and services. Responses should include:
- Past experience providing similar requirements to the VA, other government agencies, or private facilities.
- Comments or concerns regarding the attached draft schedule.
- GSA Federal-Supply Schedule contract information and contract number, if applicable.
- Business Size and Socio-Economic Status: Indicate if large or small, and if small, specify classification (e.g., SDVOSB/VOSB, Hub zone, 8(a), small disadvantaged, woman owned small business).
- SAM UEI and confirmation of SAM.gov registration.
- Confirmation of VetCert Registry registration for VOSB/SDVOSB status.
- Authorization letters from the OEM if the vendor does not manufacture the items.
- Citations of current or past customers (within the last two years) including contact information. Pricing is explicitly NOT required at this stage.
