Evaluation & Justification
NAVSUP WSS intends to solicit and negotiate with The Boeing Company on a sole source basis, citing 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) (only one responsible source) as supplemented by FAR 6.302. Boeing is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and the only known source, and the Government does not own the necessary data rights. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation for consideration. However, the procurement will not be delayed for Source Approval Request (SAR) approval for unapproved sources. Lack of response from other sources will be considered as not interested.
