Key Requirements & Quality Assurance

- Material Certification: Quantitative chemical and mechanical analysis is required for the Operating Rod. Certifications are also needed for annealing, age hardening, and ultrasonic inspection of starting material (QQ-N-286 with diameter/distance >= 4 inches).
- Testing: Slow Strain Rate Tensile Tests for QQ-N-286 must be performed by one of the specified approved laboratories. O-ring grooves and sealing surfaces require inspection per drawings or the General Acceptance Criteria (CSD008).
