Qualification Requirements
Award is contingent upon the offeror, product/service, or manufacturer meeting qualification requirements at the time of award, per FAR clause 52.209-1. The item requires Government source approval as it is flight critical and/or lacks sufficient technical data for full and open competition. Only previously approved sources have been solicited.
New sources must submit detailed information as per the NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (WSS) Source Approval Information Brochures (links provided in the original notice for Spares and Repair). Failure to provide all required data or document previous submission will result in offers not being considered. If a source approval request cannot be processed in time, award may proceed based on Fleet support needs.

The Government is not using FAR Part 12 (Acquisition of Commercial Items) for this solicitation, but interested parties may identify their capability to satisfy the requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of the notice.
