Scope of Work

The VA requires an LN2 Pipe Freezing kit capable of creating solid ice plugs in pipes up to 12 inches in diameter, adaptable to smaller sizes, to isolate sections for maintenance/repair without draining the system. The kit must safely utilize LN2, and the ice plugs must withstand 2000 PSI. A digital control system for LN2 management is required. The equipment should be compatible with freezing various liquids in steel, copper, cast iron, aluminum, and plastic pipes. Key components include the main system (AF1000), adaptor kit (AF1099), various freeze seal jackets (AF1002-AF1004, AF1006), and sealing tape (AFTAPE). A manufacturer's warranty is required. Delivery is expected within 30 days of award to the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center, Aurora, CO, along with two binders and two digital copies of Operation and Maintenance Manuals.
