The contractor shall perform a comprehensive rebuild of the failed Buffalo Forge Co Vane-Axial Fan motor (HP 25/7.5, RPM 1800/1200, 440 Volt, 3 Phase, Frame 286TNCZ). Key tasks include:
- Disassembly, inspection, measurement, washing, and painting of all parts.
- Testing the rotor for open bars.
- Removing coils, prepping and cleaning the core, and testing core integrity.
- Insulating, rewinding, and connecting the motor.
- Conducting electrical tests (Meg Ohm, Surge, Ohm, Hi Pot) on windings before and after varnishing.
