Statement of Work (SOW) / Performance Work Statement (PWS)

• Hull Inspection: Survey the entire underwater hull for abnormal conditions including plating and appendage damage, coating system defects, welding corrosion/erosion, appendage deformation, and zinc performance.

• Cathodic Protection System: Inspect the general condition and performance of the cathodic protection system, recording zinc anode condition.

• Hull Cleaning: Clean designated underwater body surfaces free of marine growth and contaminants without damaging the existing coating system.

• Zinc Anode Renewal: Replace underwater zinc anodes, ensuring no damage to hull components during the process.

• The contractor must provide 24-hour advance notice for diver inspections.

• The contractor must ensure continuous two-way communication capability between the diver and relevant personnel.

• All inspections must be documented through written reports (using provided forms) and an audio-video report with narration.

• Written and audio-video reports must be submitted within 24 hours of inspection completion.

• Government-furnished property includes specific anodes, nuts, and screws listed in the document.

• Written Reports: Pre-Clean Bio-fouling Inspection Data, Diver Hull Inspection Data, Running Gear Inspection Data, Propeller Inspection Data, Port and Starboard Rudder Data Inspection, and Zinc Wastage table.
