NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia intends to solicit on a limited competition basis to GREENE TWEED & COMPANY INC (5F573), SEAL DYNAMICS LLC (5N582), GENERAL ATOMICS CO (4V360) for the procurement of the following: NSN: 5330 016220517 QTY: 300 P/N: 27RD0687516-038 Item: GUIDE RING, PIG This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability,engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). The data that are not economically available to the Government, and the data or knowledge is essential to maintaining the quality of the part. An alternate source must qualify in accordance with the design control activity's procedures, as approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. The qualification procedures must be approved by the Government engineering activity having jurisdiction over the part in the intended application. NAICS CODE: 339991 FSC: 5330 The Government intends to procure these supplies using the provisions, clauses and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 15. Based upon market research, the Government is NOT using the policies contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies.Interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item WITHIN15 days of this notice. Source Approval Statement applies to this NSN. This is limited competition procurement, approved sources are GREENE TWEED & COMPANY INC (5F573), SEAL DYNAMICSLLC (5N582), GENERAL ATOMICS CO (4V360). It is expected that award will be madeto one these firms. Any firm which is not already approved to manufacture thismaterial must submit a Source Approval Request, SAR. This requirement will not be delayed to wait for a SAR approval. This spare is a not a Total Small Business Set-Aside. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. RFQ/Solicitation willbe posted to NECO. No telephone requests will be honored and no hard copies will be mailed out. Anticipated award date is December 2025.
