Evaluation
Award will be made only if the offeror, product, or manufacturer meets the qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. Only sources previously approved by the Government have been solicited for this requirement.
Additional Notes
Interested parties who are not currently approved sources must submit a Source Approval Request (SAR) package along with their proposal. This package must follow the guidelines in the NAVSUP WSS Source Approval Information Brochures. Note that the time required for source approval is significant; the Government may proceed with an award to an existing source if fleet support needs cannot wait for the evaluation of a new source. This acquisition is not using FAR Part 12 policies for commercial items.
