Evaluation & Justification
The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with The Boeing Company (CAGE: 0PXV4) on a sole-source basis, citing 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302. Boeing is identified as the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and the only known source, as the Government does not own the necessary data or rights for other sources.
All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation. Proposals received within 45 days of the publication date (by July 1, 2026) will be considered to determine if a competitive procurement is possible. Firms not already approved to manufacture this material must submit a Source Approval Request (SAR), but this procurement will not be delayed for SAR approval.
